Ashland Town is a town located in the Hanover County, Virginia, United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 6619 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7100, It is the 113th largest in terms of population. The town has a total area of 7.22 square miles (18.7 sq km), of which, 7.18 square miles (18.6 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the 103rd largest in terms of geographical size.
