Ashland City is a United States city located in the Ashland County, Ohio, United States. The city has a population of 21249 as per the 2000 census data. The city spans an area of 10.4 square miles (26.94 square kilometre), of which, 10.36 square miles (26.83 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Ohio's 90th largest by total area.
