Asharoken Village is a city located in Suffolk County, New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 625. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 660, It is New York's 148th smallest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.5 mi˛ (16.83 sq km), of which, 1.37 square miles (3.55 sq km) of it is land and 5.13 square miles (13.29 sq km) of it is water, it is the 121st largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in New York.

The racial makeup of the city was 604 White, 1 Black or African American, American Indian, 17 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, from two or more races and 2 Ohter races.
