Arvada City is a city located in Jefferson and Adams counties, Colorado, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of the city was 102153 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 107361, making it the sixth most populous in Colorado. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 32.84 mi˛ (85.06 sq km), of which, 32.66 square miles (84.59 sq km) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 sq km) of it is water, it is the 17th largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 102153 people, 39019 households, and 27759 families residing in the city. The population density was 3128.1 people per square mile (1207.77/km˛), it is the 26th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Colorado.
