Artesia Town is a United States town located in the Lowndes County, Mississippi, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 498 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 473, It is the 86th least populous in the U.S. state of Mississippi. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.75 square miles (1.94 square kilometre ), of which, 0.74 square miles (1.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Mississippi's 42nd smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 498 people in the town, organized into 176 households, and 125 families residing in the town.
