Arkoma Town is one of the town of Le Flore County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 2180 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2175, It is the 138th most populous in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The town encompasses an area of 3.59 sq mi (9.3 kmē ), of which, 3.51 square miles (9.09 kmē) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 224th largest by total area in Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2180 people in the town, organized into 877 households, and 596 families residing in the town. The population density was 620.7 people per square mile (239.65/kmē), it is the 331st most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. There were 975 housing units at an average density of 277.8 per square mile (107.26/kmē). The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.97. In the town the population was distributed as follows: 24.6% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 15% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males.
