Ardmore City, Carter County, Oklahoma is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 23711 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 24810, It is the 15th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 49.99 sq mi (129.47 square kilometre ), of which, 49.12 square miles (127.22 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.87 square miles (2.25 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 13th largest in terms of geographical size.
