Arcola City is a one of the Fort Bend County, Texas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1048 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1230, giving it the 899th largest population among Texas. The city comprises an area of 1.91 sq mi (4.95 square kilometre), giving it the 890th largest by total area among Texas.
