Archer City City is a city in the Archer County, Texas, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1848 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1832, giving it the 679th largest population among Texas. The city comprises an area of 2.22 miē (5.75 kmē), of which, 2.21 square miles (5.72 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 776th largest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1848 residents, 758 households, and 506 families in the city.
