Appomattox Town is a one of the Appomattox County, Virginia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1761 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1748, It is the 195th largest in terms of population. The town comprises an area of 2.18 mi˛ (5.65 square kilometre), it is the 226th largest in terms of geographical size.
