Appling County is a county in the United States of Georgia. The population of the county was 17419 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 18038, It is the 93rd largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 512.11 miē (1326.36 kmē), of which, 508.51 square miles (1317.03 kmē) of it is land and 3.61 square miles (9.35 kmē) of it is water, it is the 26th largest in terms of geographical size.
