Apex Town is one of the town of Wake County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 20212 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 33075, giving it the 34th largest population among North Carolina. It covers total area of 10.6 miē (27.45 kmē), of which, 10.54 square miles (27.3 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the 74th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 20212 people in the town, organized into 7397 households, and 5587 families residing in the town. The population density was 1918.2 people per square mile (740.62/kmē), it is the 30th most densely populated town in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
