Apache Junction City is one of the city of Maricopa and Pinal counties, Arizona, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The city has a population of 31814 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 32776, It is Arizona's 20th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 34.23 square miles (88.66 kmē), it is the 44th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arizona.
