Anoka City, Anoka County, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 18076 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 17289, It is the 53rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city encompasses an area of 7.17 square miles (18.57 square kilometre ), of which, 6.67 square miles (17.28 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 123rd largest by total area among Minnesota.
