Annapolis City is a one of the Anne Arundel County, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 35838. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 36524, It is 24th most populous in Maryland. It is spread over 7.61 square miles (19.71 sq km), of which, 6.73 square miles (17.43 sq km ) of it is land and 0.89 square miles (2.31 sq km) of it is water, it is the 85th largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.
