Anita City is a city located in Cass County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 1049 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1135, It is Iowa's 263rd largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 1.71 sq mi (4.43 kmē), making it Iowa's 221st largest by total area.
