Aniak City is a United States city located in the Bethel Census Area, Alaska, United States. Aniak City had an official population of 572 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 572, It is the 97th most populous in the U.S. state of Alaska. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.79 square miles (22.77 sq km), of which, 6.52 square miles (16.89 sq km) of it is land and 2.27 square miles (5.88 sq km) of it is water, making it the 103rd smallest by size in Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 572 people, 174 households, and 134 families residing in the city.
