Angleton City is one of the city of Brazoria County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Angleton City had an official population of 18130 in 2000. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 18613, It is the 126th largest by population in the U.S. state of Texas. It has total area of 10.58 mi˛ (27.4 sq km), of which, 10.56 square miles (27.35 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Texas's 215th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 18130 people, 6508 households, and 4891 families living in the city.
