Andrews County is a United States county located in the United States of Texas. It is home to over 13004 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 13645, It is the 146th largest county by population in the U.S. state of Texas. It covers total area of 1500.99 sq mi (3887.55 kmē), of which, 1500.64 square miles (3886.64 kmē) of it is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 kmē) of it is water, making it Texas's 24th largest county by total area.
