Andrew County is a United States county located in the United States of Missouri. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 16492 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 16923, making it the 65th most populous county in Missouri. It covers total area of 436.5 miē (1130.53 kmē), of which, 435.18 square miles (1127.11 kmē) of it is land and 1.32 square miles (3.42 kmē) of it is water, making it Missouri's 15th smallest county by total area.

The population density was 37.9 people per square mile (14.63/kmē), making its Missouri's 48th most densely populated county. There were 6662 housing units at an average density of 15.3 per square mile (5.91/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.59 persons, and the average family size was 3.03 persons. Age range in the county was well distributed with 26.4% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93 males.
