Andover Borough, Sussex County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 658. Its population was estimated at 633 in July 2008, It is the 18th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It has total area of 1.47 miē (3.81 kmē), of which, 1.46 square miles (3.78 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 154th smallest by total area in New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 658 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 451.9 people per square mile (174.48/kmē), making its New Jersey's 29th least densely populated borough. There were 273 housing units at an average density of 187 per square mile (72.2/kmē). The average household size was 2.52 persons, and the average family size was 2.98 persons.
