Anderson County, Kentucky is a county of the United States of Kentucky. As of 2000 the population was 19111. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 21347, making it the 54th most populous county in Kentucky. The county encompasses an area of 204.28 square miles (529.08 sq km ), of which, 202.67 square miles (524.91 sq km) of it is land and 1.61 square miles (4.17 sq km) of it is water, it is the 19th smallest in terms of geographical size.
