Anderson City is a one of the McDonald County, Missouri, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1856. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2055, It is the 260th most populous in the U.S. state of Missouri. The city has a total area of 1.92 miē (4.97 kmē), it is the 270th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.
