Andalusia City is a city in the Covington County, Alabama, United States. The city has a population of 8794 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 8978, giving it the 64th largest population among Alabama. The city has a total area of 18.97 mi˛ (49.13 square kilometre), of which, 18.87 square miles (48.87 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alabama's 55th largest by total area.
