It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 251, It is the 160th most populous in the U.S. state of Alaska. The city extends throughout a territory of 4.92 mi˛ (12.74 square kilometre ), of which, 4.84 square miles (12.54 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 65th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.
