Amherst Village is a city in the Portage County, Wisconsin, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 964 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 995, It is the 377th most populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Its area is just over 1.2 mi˛ (3.11 sq km), of which, 1.17 square miles (3.03 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, making it Wisconsin's 192nd smallest by total area.
