Alto Town is a United States town located in the Habersham and Banks counties, Georgia, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 876 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 913 in July 2008, It is Georgia's 353rd largest by population . The town comprises an area of 0.83 mi˛ (2.15 square kilometre), giving it the 88th smallest by total area among Georgia.
