Altmar Village, Oswego County, New York is a city located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 351 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 348, It is New York's 46th smallest by population . The city encompasses an area of 2.18 mi˛ (5.65 square kilometre ), of which, 2.16 square miles (5.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 511th largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 351 people, 119 households, and 85 families residing in the city. The population density was 162.5 people per square mile (62.74/km˛), it is 30th least densely populated city in New York.
