Altheimer City is one of the city of Jefferson County, Arkansas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 1192 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1110, making it the 186th most populous in Arkansas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.16 square miles (5.59 sq km), it is the 234th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
