Altamont Village is one of the city of Albany County, New York, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1737 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1701, making it New York's 638th largest.
