Alpha Borough, Warren County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2482. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 2386, It is the 121st least populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.74 sq mi (4.51 square kilometre), of which, 1.7 square miles (4.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 318th largest by size in New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2482 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 1462 people per square mile (564.48/kmē), giving it the 118th least densely populated borough among the New Jersey. There were 1034 housing units at an average density of 608.2 per square mile (234.83/kmē). The average household size was 2.5 people, and the average family size was 3.05 people. In the Alpha Borough, 24.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 6% were 18 to 24, 31.3% were 25 to 44, 20.7% were 45 to 64, and 17.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.1 males. The median age of the borough's population was 37.7 years, The median age of males was 35.8 years, for females the median age was 39.7 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 97.06% White, 0.28% Black or African American, 0.04% American Indian, 1.21% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.77% from two or more races and 0.64% Other races.
