Almena City is a one of the Norton County, Kansas, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 469. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 425, making it Kansas's 309th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 miē (1.55 kmē), it is the 268th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
