Alma City is a city in the Buffalo County, Wisconsin, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 942 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 869, making it Wisconsin's 383rd largest. The city has a total area of 7.78 miē (20.15 kmē), of which, 5.86 square miles (15.18 kmē) of it is land and 1.93 square miles (5 kmē) of it is water, making it Wisconsin's 74th largest by total area. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Wisconsin.
