Alma City, Gratiot County, Michigan is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 9275 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 9223, giving it the 121st largest population among Michigan. It is spread over 5.46 sq mi (14.14 square kilometre), of which, 5.36 square miles (13.88 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Michigan's 135th largest by total area.
