Allenhurst Borough is a borough located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 718 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 699, It is the 20th least populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough has a total area of 0.28 sq mi (0.73 sq km), of which, 0.26 square miles (0.67 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 12th smallest by total area.

The population density was 2750.6 people per square mile (1062.01/kmē), it is 269th most densely populated borough in New Jersey. In the borough the population was spread out, with 18.9% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 27.9% from 45 to 64, and 18.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 106.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96 males.
