Allendale Borough, Bergen County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 6699 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 6599, It is 243rd most populous in New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 3.15 sq mi (8.16 square kilometre), of which, 3.12 square miles (8.08 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 181st largest by total area in New Jersey.

In the borough the population was spread out, with 30.4% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 25.4% from 45 to 64, and 14.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.8 males. The median age is 39.5 years, The median age of males was 38.5 years, for females the median age was 40.4 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 92.48% White, 0.39% Black or African American, 0.06% American Indian, 6.09% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.52% from two or more races and 0.46% Other races.
