Algoma Town is a town located in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Algoma Town had an official population of 508 in 2000. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 549, It is Mississippi's 90th smallest by population . The town spans an area of 6.62 mi˛ (17.15 sq km), of which, 6.58 square miles (17.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 92nd largest by total area in Mississippi.
