Alexander City City is a city in the Tallapoosa County, Alabama, United States. The city has a population of 15008 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 15080, It is the 35th largest by population in the U.S. state of Alabama. The city encompasses an area of 38.98 miē (100.96 kmē ), of which, 38.82 square miles (100.54 kmē) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 kmē) of it is water, making it the 20th largest by size in Alabama.
