Aleutians East Borough, Alaska is a borough of the United States of Alaska. The population of the borough was 2697 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 2810, It is seventh least populous borough in Alaska. Its area is just over 15011.6 mi˛ (38879.87 sq km), of which, 6988.14 square miles (18099.2 sq km) of it is land and 8023.46 square miles (20780.67 sq km) of it is water, making it the 13th largest by size in Alaska. It is ranks third in the size of its inland waterways in Alaska.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 2697 people, 526 households, and 344 families living in the borough. The population density was 0.4 people per square mile (0.15/km˛), it is the 17th most populated borough in terms of population density. There were 724 housing units at an average density of 0.1 per square mile (0.04/km˛). The average household size was 2.69 people, and the average family size was 3.3 people. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 16.8% under the age of 18, 10.2% from 18 to 24, 42.3% from 25 to 44, 28.1% from 45 to 64, and 2.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 184.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 207.7 males. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2810, The racial makeup of the borough was 33.31% White, 1.99% Black or African American, 26.44% American Indian, 35.44% Asian, 0.28% Native Hawaiian, and 2.53% from two or more races.
