Alcoa City is a city in the Blount County, Tennessee, United States. It is home to over 7734 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 8606, It is 64th most populous in Tennessee. Its area is just over 14.77 mi˛ (38.25 square kilometre), of which, 13.79 square miles (35.72 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.98 square miles (2.54 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 47th largest by total area in Tennessee. It is ranks 14 in the size of its inland waterways in Tennessee.
