Albion City is one of the city of Edwards County, Illinois, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1933 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 1814, It is Illinois's 508th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.19 miē (5.67 kmē), of which, 2.14 square miles (5.54 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, it is the 421st largest in terms of geographical size.
