Albia City, Monroe County, Iowa is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 3706. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 3559, It is Iowa's 96th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 3.13 sq mi (8.11 kmē), giving it the 121st largest by total area among Iowa.
