Albany City, Stearns County, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 1796 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2113, making it Minnesota's 254th largest. It has total area of 1.51 mi˛ (3.91 square kilometre), of which, 1.39 square miles (3.6 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 376th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1796 people in the city, organized into 708 households, and 436 families living in the city. The population density was 1287.6 people per square mile (497.15/km˛), it is the 187th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
