Albany City, Clinton County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2220. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2311, making it Kentucky's 158th largest. It has total area of 3.4 sq mi (8.81 kmē), making it Kentucky's 128th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2220 people, 1018 households, and 562 families residing in the city. The population density was 653 people per square mile (252.12/kmē), it is 119th least densely populated city in Kentucky.
