In 2000, 1155504 pupils and students, of which 576682 are male and 578822 are female, 25.98% of the total population, are in the education system. Of which, total enrollment of student are in, 74879 nursery or pri school, 65888 kindergarten, 525314 elementary school, 246148 high school and 243275 College graduate school.
