Akron Town is one of the town of Washington County, Colorado, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1711 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1651, giving it the 156th largest population among Colorado. The town comprises an area of 1.45 square miles (3.76 square kilometre), it is the 193rd largest in terms of geographical size.
