Akron City is a one of the Summit County, Ohio, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Akron City is home to 217074 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 207510, It is the fifth most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city has a total area of 62.41 square miles (161.64 sq km), of which, 62.07 square miles (160.76 sq km) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 sq km) of it is water, it is the fifth largest in terms of geographical size.
