Ainsworth City is a city in the Brown County, Nebraska, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1862 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1628, It is the 62nd most populous in the U.S. state of Nebraska. The city encompasses an area of 0.99 square miles (2.56 sq km), it is the 89th largest in terms of geographical size.
