As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 5396, It is the 131st largest in terms of population. It has total area of 7.97 miē (20.64 kmē), of which, 7.87 square miles (20.38 kmē) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 kmē) of it is water, it is the 106th largest in terms of geographical size.
