Ada County, Idaho is a county located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Ada County is home to 300904 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 380920, making it the most populous county in Idaho. The county comprises an area of 1060.33 square miles (2746.24 sq km), of which, 1054.99 square miles (2732.41 sq km) of it is land and 5.34 square miles (13.83 sq km) of it is water, it is the 14th smallest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 285.2 people per square mile (110.12/kmē), giving it the most densely populated county among the Idaho. In the county Age distribution was 27.3% under the age of 18, 10.3% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 9.1% who were 65 or older.
